Kutztown University has conferred degrees on nearly 700 students during the summer and fall terms. Kutztown University announces degree conferment twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. Commencement exercises are held in May and December; however, students finish their requirements for graduation throughout the entire year. The cumulative grade point average necessary for honor distinction is: with honor (cum laude) 3.40; with high honor (magna cum laude) 3.60 and with highest honor (summa cum laude) 3.80. The following students have been awarded degrees since the summer 2016 announcement. Students who have requested privacy (FERPA) are not listed publicly.

A total of 719 students were eligible to walk in Coastal Carolina University's fall 2016 commencement, compared to 595 in 2015 and 590 in 2014. Two ceremonies were held in the HTC Center on campus, one on Friday, Dec. 16 and one on Saturday, Dec. 17. Speaking to Coastal Carolina University's largest class of fall semester graduation candidates, commencement speaker Susan O'Malley advised the graduates to follow their passions. "If you follow you passion, you'll find your purpose," said O'Malley, who, following her own early goals, became the first female president of a professional sports franchise at age 29 when she assumed the leadership of the NBA's Washington Bullets (now the Wizards).

Lebanon Valley College recognized more than 200 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen fall teams.

Nearly 150 upper class students in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences will be serving as Peer Mentors in the college's 20 Learning Communities for the 2016-2017 academic year. Mentors help new students in the college make the transition to life at Iowa State University. These selected Peer Mentors are often involved with organizing study groups, social events, and out-of-class activities. The following students participated in the Veterans Club at Alvernia University during the spring semester of 2016.

The undergraduate Class of 2020 and the MSOT class of 2021 arrived at Alvernia University Aug. 18, taking part in a major university expansion announcement on their very first day. And as freshmen volunteers took part in Orientation Day of Service Aug. 19, Reading Mayor Wally Scott proclaimed the day to be "Alvernia University Day" in the city.

Elizabethtown College welcomed 57 Momentum students to campus this week. Momentum is a voluntary, interdisciplinary approach to introducing first-generation college students to the Liberal Arts and Sciences and help them prepare for the academic expectations of college.

The Dean's Award for academic excellence is awarded to students with a 3.30 or higher term average.

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its spring 2016 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

More than 230 Albright College students were named to the Dean's List for academic achievement for the 2016 spring semester.

Albright College held its 157th Commencement ceremony on May 22, 2016. Diplomas were awarded to traditional, Accelerated Degree Programs and master's degree students.

Ohio Wesleyan University held its 172nd commencement ceremony on May 8, 2016. The OWU Class of 2016 included 390 spring, summer, and fall graduates, with 65 cum laude, 43 magna cum laude, and 20 summa cum laude honorees.
